Beneficial Insects

In gardens and on the farm insects can be friends or foes. What may seem like an annoyance to you may actually be very good for the food that you like to eat! For all growers, it is important to know who are their friends in the garden.

Beneficial insects & microorganisms have a variety of tasks in the garden. They may eat or otherwise destroy pests; they may pollinate your plants, encouraging growth; they may aerate the soil; they may even eat harmful fungus from plant roots.
