This piece is a medley of patriotic songs. The melodies of these songs are passed around throughout the instruments of the band. This section will focus on identifying the melodies of the various songs within the piece. It is important to listen for the melodies so that the accompaniment parts can play under the melody. If you cannot hear the melody, then you are too loud and need to play softer.
