Characteristics

Habitat: wood edges, thickets, banks
Plant Height: 30-80 cm, erect stem
Flower Color: yellow or sometimes slightly purple
Flower: small
Inflorescence: large umbel with long peduncle, 3-8 cm wide, central flower in each cluster is stalked
Fruit: thin-winged ribs
Leaves: short-stalked to stalkless; basal; divided into 3 long-stalked, lance-shaped leaflets; alternate along stem; divided into 3-5 leaflets
Bloom Time: May-June
Origins: native
