More than 800 students attend Fall Career Fair 2007
The Career Center staff would like
to thank all organizations who attended Fall Career Fair on September 19, 2007. We hope
you found the event productive and beneficial. More than 800 students participated in this year's fall fair, an increase from last year's event. We will continue to look for new marketing strategies to attract even more students in the future.
Don't forget that you can post positions on Cardinal Career Link, Ball State University 's premier job-posting and recruiting-management Web site, by going to http://www.bsu.edu/students/careers/employers/login/. Employer registration for On-Campus Interviewing continues
On-Campus Interviewing, Sept. 24-Nov. 16
There is still time to schedule your on-campus interviews, but dates are filling quickly. Secure your preferred date by logging into Cardinal Career Link to set up your visit and post job descriptions.
Are you interested in conducting an information session where students can learn about your organization before your visit? You can schedule it through Cardinal Career Link, and just like on-campus interviewing, it's free! Log in to Cardinal Career Link, click the “Events” link on the home page, then “Information Session” and “Add new.” Give us all the details and we will reserve a room to meet your needs.
Cardinal Career Link is a powerful, user-friendly tool. If you encounter a problem or have a question about the system, please call Karen Runyon at (765) 285-2431.
Thank you for considering Ball State University students as you fill your staffing needs.

Celebrating service!
Since 1986, the Career Center has
offered comprehensive services to Ball State students. Helping connect students with employers is one way we continue to serve their needs—and
yours! National Customer Service
Week took place this month, Oct. 1-5, so we'd like to use our October newsletter to thank you for participating in Ball State programs and services that keep you connected to our students.
Over the years, we have been privileged to form and maintain relationships with employers representing a range of opportunities for our students. To help you be successful, we pay attention to your needs for interns, part-time and seasonal employees, and professional employment candidates. In other words, we strive to offer the services you need to find competent, highly skilled employees for all types of positions.
We hope to continue to meet your needs and exceed your expectations for years to come. We will continue to maintain our partnership using electronic connections but will rely on fundamental personal interactions to keep that relationship strong.
Please let us know what your current human resource needs are and how we can help you achieve your goals.
