New Cardinal Career Link and NACELink Network are Up and Running!
As announced in May, the new NACElink Network has brought innovative changes and improvements to Ball State’s job- posting and on-campus recruiting system. Ball State’s Cardinal ViewJobs is now Cardinal Career Link as the result of a partnership between the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), Symplicity (a leading technology company specializing in software solutions), and DirectEmployers (a nonprofit association of employers). The result for you is enhanced functionality and new recruiting tools.
Here are some of the features now available:
On-Campus Interviewing
- You can create a wait list for additional students when interview schedules are full.
- Automated e-mail messages will remind you when to make preselects and keep you up to date on deadlines.
- Your employer homepage features up-to-the minute announcements and “alerts” to remind you of pending recruiting deadlines.
- A full-function calendar lists all Ball State recruiting events and Career Center activities.
- Click here to schedule your on-campus recruiting dates.
Job Fairs
- Register online for Ball State job and career fairs.
- Send advance e-mails to students registered for job fairs.
- Receive invoices by e-mail.
- Click here to register for Fall Career Fair.
Job Posting
- A new, easy-to-use interface allows you to manage your company’s profile.
- Complete online job-report forms for the students you hire.
- The autofill feature allows you to easily complete job postings and online forms from information already in the system.
- Click here to post part-time jobs, full-time jobs, and internships.
In addition, Cardinal Career Link enables you to view the history of all your Ball State recruiting activities, to save candidate résumés, and to mark résumés for future follow-up.
