Fall Career Fair candidate hiring results are continuing to come in to the Career Center. Forty-three percent of the candidates who attended Fall Career Fair had interviews on campus with employers who attended the event; 38 percent of the candidates surveyed were offered employment.

“Fall Career Fair was beneficial in helping me find out about companies that I was interested in, which in turn made me participate in on-campus interviewing and got me an internship,” said business major Kyndra Matheny.

The grand opening for the Ball State Indianapolis Center was Nov. 29, 2006. The center, at 50 S. Meridian St., offers educational opportunities for working professionals and provides key resources for Indianapolis and state leaders promoting job development, economic growth, and quality-of-life initiatives. “Based on Ball State’s past success in many high-profile projects in Indianapolis, I believe this center will have an immediate impact in helping the city and the state of Indiana further its key initiatives,” said Ball State President Jo Ann M. Gora.
