Job-Search Jump Start Is October 23

The next Professional Development Workshop for Business Fellows is Job-Search Jump Start to be held Saturday, October 23 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Student Center Cardinal Hall. (Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.) This is a mandatory session and the hours count toward your 10 hour per week commitment to Business Fellows. The program features an employer keynote presentation followed by three breakout sessions. All Business Fellows need to pre-register online for this event to choose the sessions you will attend. As a Business Fellow you must attend the sessions on Job-Search Documents and Behavior-Based Interviewing. You can then choose between Professional Employment Portfolio and The Search.

Because this event is also open to all Ball State students and alumni, bring your friends! Don't keep this great experience to yourself.  Make sure they also register online to choose the sessions they want to attend.

To sign in as proof of attendance for the Advanced Professionalism Certificate or the Business Fellows program, stop by the table outside Cardinal Hall B at the conclusion of the event. Attendees should plan to stay for the entire event in order to receive verification of attendance.
