Criminal Justice Career Day 2007

Ball State University
Thursday, March 29, Noon to 3 p.m.
L. A. Pittenger Student Center, Cardinal Hall

In an effort to enhance success for our students as well as the local, state, federal, and private sector criminal justice agencies providing important services in Indiana and across the nation, we are pleased to announce the upcoming Criminal Justice Career Day. This event is held on the Ball State University campus each spring and is sponsored by the Department of Criminal Justice, the Career Center, and the student chapters of the national honor society, Alpha Phi Sigma, and the American Criminal Justice Association.

Recruiting is expensive and time-consuming, yet strong candidates are crucial to agencies that are striving to provide services of high quality in a climate of tightly constrained resources. We believe that the Criminal Justice Career Day will provide your agency or organization with valuable access to interested, educated, well-qualified, and motivated students. Your agency or organization will receive excellent exposure; we have more than 600 majors.

To register for the Criminal Justice Career Day go to the Cardinal Career Link job-posting system at http://www.bsu.edu/students/careers/employers/login/  and log in with your username and password. If you do not have a Cardinal Career Link account please create a new account for your organization. If you cannot remember your password, click the “forgot password” link.  Once you get to the Cardinal Career Link home page, click the link “Criminal Justice Career Day is currently active” to get to the online registration form.

The $30 registration fee helps to cover direct event expenses and serves as a student organization fundraiser. We have limited space this year, and reservations will be made on a first come, first served basis.
