Professional Image and Etiquette

Did you know that the first impressions are formed within the first fifteen seconds? It's true that a first impression begins to take shape immediately, it's completely formed within fifteen seconds, and it can last a lifetime! A first impression is like a filter through which we take in all subsequent information about a person. Therefore, it is critical that your first impression be positive.

For more information on professional image and dining etiquette, visit the Career and Experiential Learning Lab in Lucina Hall 235, open daily 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The lab has hundreds of career resources including books directly related to image and etiquette.
