| Within this design of a regenerative
research lab, architecture becomes a reflection of the land
where patterns are realized, complexities of natural systems are
understood and the cyclical, interdependent nature of life is
revealed—where student minds are inherently shaped by an
intimate connection with the land and natural systems. The scope
of work includes the design of an indoor / outdoor [studio]
learning environment on the edge of school grounds for Salamonie,
a K-8 school in northeastern Indiana [40N latitude] with
approximately five hundred students. |
