| Health By Design is an experiment in
interdisciplinary higher education, inquiry and community outreach. It
is funded initially by a Discovery grant and is a collaboration
between Ball State University and Cardinal Health System, Inc. The
first year focuses on curriculum development and the First Annual Ball
State University Health-by-Design Symposium. The second year will see
curriculum implementation, a second annual symposium, and laying the
foundations for continuation of the program.
Our goal is to foster new thinking across disciplines and fields of endeavor, and to develop an action agenda for practice and education at the intersections of
