Market Square Arena, the NBA home for the Indiana Pacers since its construction in 1974, was imploded in 2001 after being replaced by Conseco Fieldhouse. 

The City of Indianapolis requested proposals for the redevelopment of the Market Square Arena site on November 1, 2002.  On February 5, 2003, the City of Indianapolis received six (6) proposals.  Summaries and depictions of the six (6) proposals as initially submitted are on boards available for viewing online in Adobe PDF format below.
