Rationale

I chose my Political Science 312 Quiz over the ideas of Socrates as my artifact because it not only shows my knowledge of Socrates and his teachings, but also my ability to convey my knowledge in a way that is understandable, organized, and accurate. To help gain my knowledge of Socrates, I read the book “Political Theory” by Joseph Losco and Leonard Williams. I have paired this artifact with Intasc #7 because, through my ability to convey what I learn, I will be able to effectively plan instruction for my students that applies to their lives, community, and curriculum goals.
Being able to take a quiz or a test is something that every learner should master. However, being able to convey ideas and show knowledge in an understandable and organized fashion can sometimes be tricky. As a teacher, it is important that I am able to relay information to my students in an understandable and organized fashion. Through this artifact, I have shown my ability to do that as a learner. If this artifact is paired with artifacts seven and eight, my ability to relay information (especially historical information) in an understandable and organized fashion as a teacher, will be quite clear.
