Welcome, Welcome, Welcome!  You have done such a wonderful job on your explorations of the Northeast, Southeast, and Middle West.  Now we are headed to our next region - the Southwest.  This region is a very exciting place that has a lot of history.  For example, this is where the cowboys made their homes during the cattle round-ups.  This is also where Native Americans made their homes out of caves and clay.  You will discover these and many more exciting facts on your journey.   You have a lot of exploring to do, so let's get started!  The following is a map of the Southwest region...

This is the official map we will be using to guide us through the wilderness.  There are only four states included in this region.   However, the states are quite large and full of amazing places, people, and things!   We are going to have to move quickly in order to keep on track, so we need to stay focused!  Remember...this is uncharted territory, so be careful and keep your eyes and ears open.  You never know when something exciting is going to pop up.  By now, you are experts at filling out your exploration journal,  Remember to fill it out for each and every visit you make.  A good explorer never forgets to record his/her findings!  Good luck and happy trails!
