| Discussion Director | The role of the discussion director is to ask questions, clarify understanding, and generally make sure the discussion keep rolling along in a productive way. You will need to ask questions that will stimulate discussion and provide opportunities for the group to share their reactions. As the director, you should prepare some questions ahead of time to get the discussion going. Keep the group on task. |
| Passage Master | The role of the passage master is to find some really interesting or important passages in the textbooks to focus the group members' attention on. You will need to choose these passages, alert the group to them, and then ask them a question or two about the passages. |
| Summarizer | The role of the summarizer is to wrap up the week's discussion by making some statements about the trends, key points, main ideas, and statements to remember in the discussion. |
