I have checked my head light up/down movement control and I can't detect any movement of either dim or brights. The owners manual doesn't go into detail and I am unsure if it works the dims or brights or both and should you be able to detect actual movement?
Point the lights on a wall, then try it. You should be able to see a difference then.
Make sure your engine is running for the lights to move up & down.
The movement is subtle. If you aim it at a wall at close range it is hard to detect movement but it does move noticeable when you are riding in the darkness and make an adjustment.
Only the low beams are adjustable with the electric control. I will agree that all four lamps are on in the high beam position and the lower beams will still adjust in the high beam position.
